Ingredients for Haydari:
- Yoghurt (creamy) – 3 to 5 large tablespoons
- Garlic – 2 to 4 Cloves
- Fresh Dill Chopped – Medium Bunch
- Salt – to taste
- Olive Oil – optional for serving
Instructions:
Mix the yoghurt and crushed garlic together add in your chopped dill. Keep a little back for a garnish.
Add salt to taste.
Sprinkle over your dill and Pour about a teaspoon and 1/2 of olive oil over the top and serve.
It is a good dip for vegetables and nice with flat bread.
I often add in a little cumin for taste.
You will also see other Haydari recipes in Turkey where they mix in white cheese with the ingredients which gives it a slightly different texture.

Daniel F. OppligerMy brother in law gave us 2 eggplants and some other vegetables. So I go to the grocery store and by all the ingredients to make moussaka. It would have been less expensive to go to Med Fresh Turkish Grill in Tempe. Oh well, I like to cook.
