Yoghurt and Sultana Cake, Kuru Üzümlü Kek

This Yoghurt and Sultan cake recipe is one of my favourites to bake. Its quick and simple to make, lots of flavour and goes perfect with a good cup of tea.


Yoghurt and Sultana Cake Ingredients

3 Eggs
180 grams Sugar
130 grams Flour
½ cup of Milk
¾ cup of Yoghurt
¼ cup of olive oil
100 grams Sultanas
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
Grated Rind of 1 Lemon

Yoghurt and Sultana Cake Recipe

Set your oven to 180c

Whisk your sugar and eggs together till light and fluffy.

Whisk your oil, yoghurt and milk together and then slowly add in your eggs and sugar.

Now add in your sieved flour and baking powder and once combined add in your sultanas and grated lemon rind and mix through.

Now pour the cake batter into a greased baking tin and bake for 30minutes or until golden. You can test the cake with skewer by placing it in the middle of the cake and if it comes away clean the cake is ready.
