Gümüşlük, Bodrum | Video of Gümüşlük

For those that have never had the pleasure of visiting this lovely sea side village, Gümüşlük is situated on the road, between Turgutreis and Yalikavak on the Bodrum Peninsula.  Gümüşlük is a small peace village which is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday.

The village is most famous for the ancient sunken causeway which you can walk across to reach Rabbit Island where you can climb to the top and get spectacular views of Gümüşlük and see the famous Rabbits of the Island.

In the day time you can relax on the beach and enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear blue water.  In the evening you can dine in the many restaurants while looking out onto the beautiful harbour and enjoy the fabulous seafood. Afterwards you can take a stroll in the many wonderful craft shops available.

If you would like to visit Gümüşlük while holidaying along the Bodrum Peninsula you can catch the local Dolmuş and many boat tours stop in Gümüşlük so you can enjoy this beautiful place.

If you are looking for an idyllic holiday, where you can relax and recharge your batteries without the noise and bustle of most holiday resorts then Gümüşlük is certainly the place for you.

Nice YouTube video.. brought back memories. Do you have any recommendations for local restaurants, bars etc. I’d love to include them on my site. Also, I’m just about to start a Top 5 list themed post for the Bodrum Peninsula… if you have a top 5 .. I’ll post them with a ping back to your blog. thanks, Jay
